Direct Interactive approached Enock Design to perform a complete rebranding of the company beginning with the corporate logo. Meaningful associations can be found in the new logo, for example, the two carats pointing to each other reference the customer and client relationship, interacting with each other, the point of “direct interaction”. Branding efforts continued through to the company tag line “Dedicated to enhancing the customer experience”, as well as the design of all communications such as business cards, letterheads and presentations materials.
Completing the brand was the interface redesign of their flagship web application, Chili Sales. The new interface allows users to quickly and intuitively learn and perform key tasks essential to taking advantage of this unique tool.
Look for the launch of the new Direct Interactive website in the upcoming weeks.

One of our latest web projects just launched and now we can finally talk about it… We’ve been working on the redesign of newyears.com for the past few months giving it a complete make-over. Newyears.com is an e-commerce site providing party promoters across the nation an online distribution method for selling party tickets. During the peak season the site attracts over 2 million unique visits with the help of the #1 searched term in its category on both Overture and Google. Visit newyears.com

Enock Design has been busy with a bunch of exciting projects this past summer. We can’t reveal too much at this point as these projects are still in the works, but we wanted to share a little background about them.
With over 40 million Americans using online dating websites, about 40 percent of our entire U.S. single-people pool, we were excited to be asked to design a niche dating website that will be launching in the upcoming months. The project scope included the over-all site design and functionality, a distinctive logo, as well the administrative tool used to manage the website and its members.
Additionally, we have been hard at work redesigning an information and e-commerce site which provides party promoters and venue owners across the nation an online method for selling party tickets. During it’s peak season the site attracts over 2 million unique visits with the help of the #1 searched term in its category on both Overture and Google.
Other projects included a marketing website for a project/team management software tool and a series of sales sheets distributed in both hard copy and as PDF files for a company specializing in criminal justice focused software and systems integration for government entities.

Design through my eyes | 1 comment
With all the news in recent months about David Beckham joining the Los Angeles Galaxy, I can’t help but be reminded of Pelé and his explosion on the U.S. soccer scene. In 1975, Brazil’s World Cup hero, Pelé, landed in the U.S. after playing 17 seasons and winning 3 world cups in 3 different decades. Pele joined the New York Cosmos and is credited with injecting soccer into the United States.
At the time, Pelé was the best soccer player on the planet and from my vantage as well known as Muhammad Ali. But I may be biased. Pelé came to my house one night shortly after his arrival in the U.S. to enjoy some New York pizza. I was about six years old and may remember the “story” better than the actual afternoon, but I do remember Pelé giving my brother an autographed soccer ball. My brother was still at the age where kicking the ball rather than incasing it in Plexiglas seemed like the right thing to do. ’nuff said.
Giora Breil, director of creative services for Pepsi-Cola International introduced my father David to Pelé in 1972 — Pepsi was one of my father’s clients at the time. Giora was instrumental in bringing Pelé to the States, and negotiated from my parents apartment into the early hours of the morning the final agreement that brought Pelé here.
Pepsi appointed Pelé Chairman of the Worldwide Pepsi-Cola Youth Soccer Program and hired him to create a series of 6 instructional films entitled Pelé: The Master and his Method, an accompanying training manual, and a set of skills-training posters which Giora then hired my father to design. Paul Gardner, if you know American soccer, you know the name, was responsible for concepts and copy. Additional soccer expertise was provided by the Santos football team Coach, Professor Julio Mazzei, and poster illustrations by Nick De Angelis.
Not only was it an exciting time for U.S. soccer fans, but it was an exciting time for me. Being just six yeas old, meeting Pelé, seeing all the posters, drawings and logos - I just loved the colors of each poster and all the illustrations. My father went on to design the official Pelé service mark, one of the all time great marks, for the Licensing Corporation of America a division of Warner Communications .
Today, Pelé is still in the news, and not just for the comparisons to David Beckham, for which there are none. Pelé is lending himself to a literacy campaign for Fútbol Mundial aimed at encouraging youngsters and parents to spend more time reading together.
